Tranzita Technologies ("we", "us", "our") operates the Adhivakta mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from the authentication provider. We store this to create and manage your Adhivakta account.

Profile Information: Depending on your role (Lawyer or Client), you may provide additional details such as Bar Council registration number, enrollment state, court types, specializations, city, district, phone number, and lawyer invite codes.

Case Data: Lawyers enter case information including case numbers, court names, judge names, hearing details, court orders, action items, and client information. Clients can view case data shared by their linked lawyers.

Documents: Users may upload documents (photos, PDFs, and other files) related to their legal cases. These are stored securely in Firebase Storage.

Billing Data: Invoice details, payment amounts, and payment status are stored for billing and record-keeping purposes.

Device Information: We collect Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to deliver push notifications about hearings, action items, and case updates.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Service Delivery: To provide case management, hearing reminders, client communication, billing, and document management features.
• AI Processing: Court order text may be processed by Google Gemini AI (via Vertex AI in Firebase) to generate plain-language summaries, extract action items, and draft legal documents. This processing happens on Google Cloud infrastructure and is not used to train AI models.
• Notifications: To send push notifications about upcoming hearings, new action items, and case updates.
• Account Management: To authenticate your identity, manage your profile, and maintain your session.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) servers located in the asia-south1 (Mumbai) region. We use:

• Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in
• Cloud Firestore with security rules enforcing role-based access control
• Firebase Storage with security rules for document access
• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Multi-tenant architecture ensuring lawyers can only access their own data

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Lawyer-Client Sharing: Lawyers can share specific case information, documents, and invoices with their linked clients through the App.
• Google Cloud Services: Data is processed through Firebase (authentication, database, storage, messaging) and Vertex AI (AI summaries and drafts), both operated by Google under their data processing terms.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or court order.

5. Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data within the App.
• Correction: You can update your profile information at any time.
• Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from within the App (Settings > Delete Account). This permanently removes your profile, cases, documents, invoices, and client links.
• Data Portability: Contact us to request an export of your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted from our servers. We do not retain backup copies of deleted account data.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
